privacy policy

1. what we collect

we collect the minimum needed to run the business:

  • your email address and purchase history (for licensing and support).
  • machine activations (a fingerprint per slot — opaque, not reversible to hardware).
  • license-check pings (license key + timestamp) when the app calls home to validate.
  • website analytics — privacy-respecting, no cross-site tracking. TODO: name the analytics tool, e.g. plausible

2. what we don't collect

we do not collect: usage telemetry, document contents, image data, your project files, crash dumps containing personal data, or anything from inside the app you haven't explicitly opted in to send.

3. third parties

  • paddle processes payments and is the merchant of record. paddle has its own privacy policy.
  • fal.ai (active subscribers only) processes ai inference prompts. inputs are not used for training.
  • cloudflare hosts this site, the api, and the d1 database.

4. your rights

you can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time: hello@madpixel.com. we respond within 30 days (usually within a few).

5. cookies

we use one essential cookie (your session token, for the customer portal). no marketing cookies, no third-party trackers. TODO: confirm analytics tool sets no cookies

6. children

madphase is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. changes

material changes will be announced by email and on this page.
